Wife is not a hired chattel or bonded labour, says Chhattisgarh HC

Setting aside the judgment and decree passed by the trial court in favour of a husband in a divorce case, the Chhattisgarh high court has stated that the wife should not be treated as hired chattel or bonded labour to stay under the conditions imposed by the husband.
