Delhi-NCR Weather: IMD Predicts More Rain As Yamuna Continues To Flow Above Danger Mark

The Met Department has predicted light rain showers over Delhi and adjoining areas in NCR while the water level of the Yamuna river remains above the danger mark.

The Yamuna in Delhi has risen to an all-time high of 208.46 meters on Thursday. It has submerged low-lying areas and prompted evacuation measures. The Central Water Commission or CWC has called it an extreme situation as the water flow into Yamuna is expected to peak on Thursday (July 13). The current water level is three metres above the danger mark.
