The flooding of the Yamuna River in the Khadar area, ranging from Sector 125 to Sector 135, has resulted in the submersion of millet and paddy crops worth lakhs of rupees for the local farmers.

The Yamuna in Delhi has risen to an all-time high of 208.46 meters on Thursday. It has submerged low-lying areas and prompted evacuation measures. The Central Water Commission or CWC has called it an extreme situation as the water flow into Yamuna is expected to peak on Thursday (July 13).
