Mutts force Karnataka govt to go slow on repealing BJP-enacted ‘contentious’ laws

Although the Congress government in Karnataka had vowed to repeal the anti-cow slaughter and anti-conversion laws enacted by the previous BJP dispensation, it appears to have decided to go slow on the decision after opposition from mutts of major communities, especially Lingayats and Brahmins.​
