Going for an organizational shake-up in readiness for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday appointed a prominent Hindu Jat face and former state Congress chief Sunil Jakhar (69) as the president of its Punjab unit.
