Govt aid for raped, pregnant and abandoned minor girls

The Centre has approved a new scheme under the Nirbhaya Fund to provide food, shelter and legal aid, including transportation for attending court hearings, to minor girls abandoned by their families due to pregnancy from rape and who have no means to fend for themselves.
