Election Commission publishes draft to redraw Lok Sabha, assembly seats in Assam

After being on hold for 15 long years, the Election Commission on Tuesday published its draft plan to kickstart the delimitation of assembly and Lok Sabha constituencies in Assam based on the population census of 2001, proposing to increase the number of SC and ST reserved assembly seats.
