'Completely safe': Government responds to reports of CoWIN data breach

One portal that was probably accessed by every last Indian citizen is now under scrutiny. The opposition has said that the information in the CoWIN portal were leaked and displayed on the portal. TMC spokesperson Saket Gokhale has taken to Twitter to allege a "major privacy breach by the Modi government" through the Covid-19 vaccination app CoWIN, stating that the "personal details of all vaccinated Indians including their mobile numbers, Aadhaar numbers, Passport numbers, Voter ID, and details of family members, have been leaked and are freely available". #CoWIN #Opposition #CoWINDataLeak ~PR.151~HT.96~
