Gujarat: 15 killed, over 11,000 relocated amid massive flooding after heavy rains

Unloading trucks of sandbags, workers in the Thai capital Bangkok are setting up defences ahead of potential flooding. In recent days, flash flooding, caused by heavy monsoon rains, has killed at least 22 people, according to officials, who have also warned that 31 provinces in the country's north and northeast were facing possible flooding until Thursday 29 August.

The IMD has issued a warning of a rare cyclone over Gujarat, which is already battling with massive flooding and heavy rainfall.

Recent heavy rains in Gujarat have caused severe flooding in Vadodara, leading to unusual crocodile sightings.

Vadodara struggled with severe flooding in extensive low-lying areas after the Vishwamitri River, which runs through the city, overflowed its banks.
