Foreign Secretary 'confident' Rwanda bill will pass
Foreign secretary Lord Cameron said he is "confident" the Rwanda bill will be passed by parliament this week. The legislation which is set to be passed declares Rwanda a safe country - after the Supreme Court blocked an earlier plan in November. "If you can't send them directly back to France, the best thing to do is find another answer where people who come to Britain in that way can't stay in Britain. That's what the Rwanda plan is all about," Mr Cameron said. Report by Kennedyl. Like us on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/itn and follow us on Twitter at http://twitter.com/itn
