AAP MP Raghav Chadha moves Supreme Court against Rajya Sabha suspension

Chadha was suspended in August on charges of not taking the consent of five Rajya Sabha MPs before including their name in a select committee. He has been accused of forging the signatures of five MPs in a motion related to the Delhi Services Bill.

AAP's Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha on Tuesday alleged that BJP is using central investigating agencies to squash opposition ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha Polls, news agency ANI reported. Addressing a press conference, Chadha stated: "In BJP-ruled states agencies are silent and in non-BJP ruled states agencies are violent." According to Chadha, ED searched 112 places between 2004 and 2014, when the UPA government was in control, however, between 2014 to 2023, the ED raided 3100 sites.
