The US Coast Guard said that human remains have likely been recovered from the wreckage of the Titan submersible. The vessel imploded during an underwater voyage to view the Titanic shipwreck. The news came hours after the announcement that debris from the Titan arrived in St. John’s in Newfoundland. The remnants of the submersible were collected from the seafloor around 12,500 feet below the surface of the North Atlantic.
