Arbaaz Khan attended a prayer meeting at Malaika Arora's family home for her late father, Anil Mehta. Despite parting ways in 2017, he maintains a cordial relationship with Malaika and her family. Numerous Bollywood stars also paid their respects following Anil Mehta's death on September 11 by apparent suicide.

Malaika Arora’s father Anil Arora dies by suicide, as per reports
Actress Malaika Arora’s father Anil Arora on Wednesday died by suicide on Wednesday morning. However, some reports claim that it was an accident. Several reports stated that Anil Arora jumped off the third floor from his apartment building in Bandra, Mumbai at around 9.00 AM on Wednesday morning. Malaika’s former husband Arbaaz Khan was seen outside her apartment after the incident took place. The actress is on her way back to Mumbai from Pune.
