Hirani: 3 Idiots scene is inspired by my real life

Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani recently shared a personal anecdote during an event in Kolkata and revealed that the iconic confession scene in 3 Idiots, where R Madhavan's character expresses his desire to be a wildlife photographer to his father, was inspired by a real-life experience from his own life.
