Shaitaan fails to beat Drishyam, Tanhaji at BO

Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan's 'Shaitaan' opened to Rs 14.75 crore and has amassed Rs 54 crore in its first weekend, becoming the biggest opener for horror films in India. However, it failed to surpass the weekend collections of Ajay's 'Drishyam 2' (Rs 64.14 crore) and 'Tanhaji' (Rs 61.88 crore).
