Too Many COPs, Not Enough Results, Says African Environmentalist
Climate change believers should not wait for the governments or the United Nations to follow through with climate change action, said Teemo Africa LTD CEO Winfrida Shonde to The New American's Alex Newman. "How many COP do we need to have a new climate [and] a new planet?" Shonde opined as tensions are stirring amongst climate alarmists after 29 years of UN summits and little results. As COP30 is set to take place in Brazil in 2025, many activists and delegates at COP29 in Azerbaijan want an increased devotion to local action for climate. Hoping to bolster support for "climate justice" as the UN continues to fail to meet its goals.
