Israel hits Iran with ‘missile attack’ near nuclear site as markets watch oil prices

The Israeli strike on a military base near the Iranian city of Isfahan was part of a cycle of retaliation that has alarmed world leaders. But it produced a largely muted response from both sides. Days after Iran launched an unprecedented missile and drone attack on Israel, multiple explosions were reported Isfahan which is also the site of Iran's nuclear facilities. Iranian air defenses intercepted three drones but there were no reports of a missile attack.
