$300 billion electronics production in few years a realistic, achievable target: IT Minister

India aims to achieve $300 billion electronics production, including $100 billion in exports, in the coming years, according to Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. The government has reduced import duties on smartphone components to boost domestic manufacturing and compete with China and Vietnam.
