Vande Metro to roll out early 2024; Indian Railways readies 130 kmph train for short distance rapid transit

Vande Metro train update: Come early 2024, Indian Railways will roll out a new air-conditioned train for faster travel over shorter distances up to 300 kilometers. Inspired from the Vande Bharat Express, the Vande Metro will be rapid transit offering for passengers.
