Indian IT staring at anaemic hiring

Accenture's weak hiring numbers could have a ripple effect on the Indian IT industry. The company added only 951 people in the fourth quarter, while its headcount for the fiscal year dropped by 4,900. Other major IT services companies, such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and HCL, also experienced declines in headcount.
