Devotees throng Karnataka temple despite COVID crisis

Despite surge in COVID-19 infections and restrictions on gathering, devotees in large numbers participated in the 'Brahmakalashotsava' at Someshwara temple in Mangaluru's Ullal on the night of April 26.

Social distancing norms and other COVID guidelines were flouted during the celebrations.

People were seen without masks even as the devastating 2nd wave of COVID-19 is sweeping the country.
