IIT Delhi develops e-scooter with running cost of 20 paise/km

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi incubated startup, Geliose Mobility has developed an electric scooter whose running cost is just 20 paise per kilometre.

The electric scooter 'HOPE' is cost-effective option for delivery and local commuting.

This electric scooter gives top speed of 25 km/hour.

The scooter 'HOPE' comes with a charger and portable lithium-ion battery like other electric scooters.

'HOPE' can be easily charged in normal socket used at home.

The starting price of this e-scooter is 46,999.

'HOPE' falls in discount category of e-vehicles and doesn't require registration or driving license.
