Hong Kong's Airport Reopens After Mass Protests Shut It Down

Protests have overcome Hong Kong, shutting down the international airport and affecting people’s flights.

While the airport reopened the day after, its administrator warned flight movements would still be affected.

According to Reuters, China said the protests have begun to show “sprouts of terrorism.” The country said “protesters have been frequently using extremely dangerous tools to attack the police.” These protests first began as opposition to a now suspended extradition bill to mainland China.
