Nearly a week after he allegedly killed his wife in this palmer township home more than 1500 miles away from this palmer township home eighty-year-old edgar himel is behind bars.
He's accused of shooting and killing his wife penny vantassel-himel on the 4th of july at their house on old orchard drive officials with the sterling police department in colorado, a rested him while he was staying at a hotel early saturday morning after receiving a tip that vantassel-himel's 2019 nissan rogue was parked there.
Palmer township police officials said in a statement quote we had a law enforcement blanket net around where we thought he would be.
