DiCaprio debuts climate change film in LA

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Actor and environmental activist Leonardo DiCaprio premiered the climate change documentary "Ice On Fire" in Los Angeles on Wednesday (June 05).

DiCaprio narrated and co-produced the HBO film, which examines solutions to combat global warming.

According to HBO, the film looks at "the innovations aimed at reducing carbon in the atmosphere, which could pave the way for a reduction in the global temperature rise and a benefit to the planet's life systems." DiCaprio was joined by his father, George DiCaprio, who served as executive producer, and the film's director Leila Conners.

Other stars hitting the premiere's red carpet included actors Minnie Driver and Scott Eastwood, and singer Tyrese Gibson.

"Ice On Fire" debuts on HBO on June 11.
