U.S. Commander Prepares To Fight Back Against Iran If Necessary

Reuters reports a U.S. commander of naval forces in the Middle East says that he would consider sending an aircraft carrier through the Strait of Hormuz.

Vice Admiral Jim Malloy, commander of the U.S. Navy’s Bahrain-based Fifth Fleet, says he is "not restricted in any way" to deal with Iran.

Meanwhile, tensions have risen between the United States and Iran.

Malloy did not say whether he would send the USS Abraham Lincoln carrier strike group into the strategic Strait of Hormuz off Iran.
