Deadly Dust Storm Whips Travelers in Karachi

A fierce dust storm swept through Karachi, Pakistan, on Sunday and Monday, April 14 and 15, killing at least three and injuring many others, Geo News reported.The storm blew down trees and damaged structures around the city, according to local reports.

According to Geo News, a number of injuries were caused by collapsing roofs around the city.

Social media users said projectiles tossed by the winds have caused widespread damage.Video posted to Twitter on Monday showed travelers on motorbikes battling the dust and wind.

Visibility was seen to be notably reduced and the howling of the storm could be heard throughout the footage.
