The hashtag #EmptyTwitterTrash trended on Twitter from late Saturday until Sunday evening with over 62,000 tweets posted by influencers and others.

As many as 62,000 tweets were put out by individual accounts and those of social media influencers, celebrities and famous personalities in the past 24 hours.
