A report recently said President Donald Trump expressed interest in buying Greenland, the worldโ€™s largest island. According to Business Insider, Trump talked about it in โ€œvarying degrees of seriousness.โ€ Greenland is seen as a vital geopolitical location with a population of roughly 56,000. While some advisers responded enthusiastically to Trumpโ€™s interest, others scoffed at the idea. In the past, the U.S. bought Alaska from Russia in 1867.
