H. D. Deve Gowda

Haradanahalli Doddegowda Deve Gowda is an Indian politician who served as the prime minister of India from 1996 to 1997. He previously served as the chief minister of Karnataka from 1994 to 1996 and as a Member of Parliament (MP) in the Lok Sabha. A member of the Janata Dal (Secular), he has been serving as the party's president since 1999 and has been an MP in the Rajya Sabha representing Karnataka since 2020.
