Apichatpong Weerasethakul

Apichatpong Weerasethakul is a Thai independent film director, screenwriter, and film producer. Working outside the strict confines of the Thai film studio system, Apichatpong has directed several features and dozens of short films. Cinephiles sometimes refer to him as "Joe".
