Asakusa (ๆต ่) is a district in Taitล, Tokyo, Japan, famous for the Sensล-ji, a Buddhist temple dedicated to the bodhisattva Kannon. There are several other temples in Asakusa, as well as various festivals, such as the Sanja Matsuri.
