Gaurav Gogoi

Gaurav Gogoi is an Indian politician and social worker of Indian National Congress from Assam who is served as the Deputy Leader of the Indian National Congress in the Lok Sabha since 2020 till 2024. He represented the Kaliabor constituency in the Lok Sabha from 2014 to 2024, after the constituency was abolished, he is representing Jorhat constituency in 18th Lok Sabha. He is the son of former chief minister of Assam Tarun Gogoi. Gaurav left his job at Airtel to join a Delhi-based NGO called Pravah in 2005.
