Shubman Gill is an Indian international cricketer who represents the national team across all three formats of the game and is the current vice-captain of the ODI team. He is regarded as one of the best batters in contemporary cricket and is currently ranked as the #1 batter in ODI cricket. He captains Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League and plays for Punjab in domestic cricket. A right-handed top-order batter, he made his international debut for in January 2019 against New Zealand. Gill was a part of the 2023 World Cup team which finished as runners-up. Gill was a member of the Indian team that won the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy.
