Angelique Coetzee is a South African health expert who works in Pretoria who currently chairperson of the South African Medical Association. In November 2021, Coetzee was the first physician to raise alarm of a possible new variant due to the different clinical symptoms experienced by patients SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant of Covid-19.
