Self-Proclaimed Real-Life Baby Reindeer Stalker Claims She's the Real Victim

Released earlier this month on Netflix, Baby Reindeer tells the story of a struggling standup comic who shows kindness to a woman at a pub, only to be met with intense stalking.

The show became a surprise hit, but it seems that behind the scenes, there is a real-life figure claiming to be the inspiration for the character Martha.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, a 58-year-old woman alleges that writer-director Richard Gadd is "bullying an older woman on television for fame and fortune." While Gadd has admitted that the show is inspired by real life, he has emphasized that it is not a documentary.

The woman is uncertain about the physical resemblance between herself and the actress playing her.

However, the reports assert that there is an "uncanny" resemblance.

The unnamed lady is still deciding whether or not to take legal action.
