He specifically mentioned the absence of communication with a faction tasked with protecting four Israeli captives, including Hersh Goldberg-Polin.

Notably, the al-Qassam Brigades had recently released a video message from Hirsch Goldberg-Polin, wherein he appealed to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and government officials to secure the release of captives and consider resigning from their positions.
