In a bold statement aired on Al-Masirah TV, Allama Muhammad Muftah, head of the Houthi-run Supreme Committee for Supporting Al-Aqsa, delivered a stern message.

He vowed that any Israeli aggression towards Rafah in Gaza would be met with swift and decisive action from Yemen.

Muftah declared that the Houthis were prepared to escalate their attacks on shipping, signalling a dangerous escalation in the conflict.

He emphasised that this response would not be limited to Yemen alone but would extend to any Israeli aggression across the region.
