BJP's Lok Sabha polls list includes 106 candidates who switched allegiances in the last 10 years. Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Haryana, Punjab, Jharkhand, and Uttar Pradesh have the highest proportions of such candidates, reflecting a significant trend of political defections across multiple states.

He will face Congress defector and three-time MLC Dinesh Pratap Singh of BJP in Rae Bareli. While, at the Lucknow Lok Sabha. Rajnath Singh of the BJP wants to hold onto the party's stronghold seat.
