Hamas is accusing the Trump administration of betrayal after the release of American-Israeli soldier Edan Alexander.

In a shocking revelation, senior Hamas official Basem Naim claims that Trump’s envoy promised to lift the Gaza blockade, allow humanitarian aid, and publicly call for a ceasefire in exchange for the hostage’s release.

But according to Hamas, the U.S. “threw the deal in the trash” and delivered none of its commitments.
