A deadly attack on Pakistan’s Jaffar Express has left 21 hostages dead after separatist militants targeted the train in Balochistan.
The Pakistani army confirmed the end of the siege, stating that 33 militants were killed and over 300 passengers were successfully rescued.
The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for the assault, demanding the release of Baloch political prisoners and activists.
PM Shehbaz Sharif condemned the attack, vowing that such cowardly acts would not weaken Pakistan’s commitment to peace.
The brutal siege, marked by intense gunfire and rocket attacks, has left the nation in mourning.
