Gas prices cheaper this year than Memorial Day 2022

As Memorial Day weekend marked a surge in post-pandemic travel, Americans hit the road in large numbers.

Despite the usual expectation of soaring gas prices during the unofficial beginning of summer, drivers were pleasantly surprised to find stable and lower gas prices compared to last year.

The national average over the weekend stood at $3.58 per gallon while last year it was $4.60 a gallon.
