Court stays release of Diljit Dosanjh starrer 'Jodi' after Imtiaz's 'Chamkila' | Oneindia News
The Punjabi film industry has suffered another setback after a Ludhiana court delayed the release of the film "Jodi," starring Diljit Dosanjh.
Nimrat Khaira, a singer and actor, plays the female lead in Amberdeep Singh's film.
Despite its scheduled release date of May 5, the film's release has been halted by a court order.
Amberdeep Singh, the director of 'Jodi' previously claimed that the film's songs would be remembered for a decade and proclaimed it to be the most anticipated film in Punjabi cinema.
