Lisa Nandy accuses SNP and Tories of engineering gender row

Labour’s Lisa Nandy accuses the SNP and the Conservatives of engineering a row over gender that is not in the national interest.

Asked during an Institute for Government event whether the Government was wrong to make a Section 35 order, the shadow communities secretary said: “We are in this mess because we have essentially got an SNP Government and a Tory Government who have essentially engineered a row.” Report by Jonesia.
