Did Putin's Army Obey His Ceasefire Order?
Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered his forces in Ukraine to observe a unilateral, 36-hour cease-fire, for the Orthodox Christmas.
The Russian leader announced that the Kremlin's troops would pause fighting after the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kirill, proposed it.
But Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in his nightly address on Saturday that the Russian military was continuing to strike Ukrainian positions despite their declared ceasefire.
