Transport Secretary describes rail strike talks with Mick Lynch as ‘productive’

Transport Secretary Mark Harper says his meeting with RMT union boss Mick Lynch was “constructive” and “productive”.

The cabinet minister added that he had a "role in the process" but it was not for him to do the detailed negotiations.
