Keir Starmer says UK must end overreliance on immigration

Labour Party leader Sir Keir Starmer says that the UK economy must end its overreliance on immigration at a conference of business leaders in Birmingham.

Sir Keir tells Confederation of British Industry (CBI) members: “I'm not going to hold businesses back if there's innovation technologies where we do need talent from abroad, but…where we've been over reliant and where we've been over reliant because we've failed on skills, I want to address that by fixing the skills issue.” Report by Jonesia.
