Autumn Statement: 'The UK is now in recession', says OBR
The Office for Budget Responsibility has said the UK is "now in recession", Jeremy Hunt told the House of Commons during his Autumn Statement.
The Chancellor went on to say that the economic forecaster believed the "recession is shallower and inflation is reduced" because of his fiscal plans.
