Coffey defends PM’s decision to not attend COP27 summit
Environment Secretary Thérèse Coffey defends Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s decision to not attend next month's COP27 climate summit in Egypt, saying: “He is focusing on domestic priorities”.
The MP also adds that the “big political COPS” usually happen every five years and that the COPS in between “tend to be somewhat lower key events”.
