PM and Dorries help lay cable for broadband on Dorset visit

Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Digital Secretary Nadine Dorries helped dig microtrenches and lay broadband cables on a visit to Wessex Internet in Dorset on Tuesday.

Work has started on the first major contract under the Government's Project Gigabit, the ยฃ5 billion programme to roll out more reliable broadband to hard-to-reach areas.
